 Who wore the original gold jacket on the footy show all them years ago...And no it's not true he rings me during the final quarter telling me it's gold jacket time, believe it or not, thats the most popular question at every shopping centre in Melbourne, And he hasn't really ticked me off about the gold jacket..some time ago he advised not to crow too early..where were you eddie on ANZAC Day 2009?
Without wanting to sound as though im pissing in ed's back pocket, The gold jacket has been a huge chapter in my little world. Thanks Ed!

The Visit to the UK



Just recently returned from overseas and was suprised how well known the Gold Jacket was with Aussies living in the UK. The new 2010 Tenth Anniversary Premiership Gold Jacket was a gift sent by a Londoner who took pity at the condition of the Game Over gold jacket.
Bring on season 2010. I have also purchased a devine Gold Sequin top hat which will only be used against my dear friends from The Melbourne MCC Members Stand and the out of control riff raff at Optus Oval.

Guess who turns 10 ?
The Gold Jacket will be 
10 years old in 2010.
Thanks to a Collingwood supporter living in the UK we now have a brand new sparkling gold jacket to celebrate it's 10th anniversary. The new gold jacket will also have the Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria Logo to promote epilepsy awareness. With the Collingwood emblem and Game Over on the back with a special 10th anniversary patch. It's my belief the gold jacket will at long last celebrate a Collingwood Premiership in it's 10th season! The journey with the gold jacket over the last 10 years has been an amazing story.
