The Bhoys out of title race!
Mark Henderson MORTEN RASMUSSEN insists the Celtic squad will not stop fighting until the end of the campaign.
The Danish striker was an impressive performer as Tony Mowbray’s men won 2-0 at Falkirk yesterday, cutting Rangers’ lead at the top of the SPL to 10 points.
Despite that gap, Rasmussen reckons every Hoops player will have no problem showing determination and drive in the remaining fixtures this season – starting with the Active Nation Scottish Cup Quarter Final tie with Kilmarnock on Saturday.
“I don't think it is difficult,” he said. “As a professional, you want to show your best when you play, you have pride, so I don't think it is difficult.
"We must look in each other's eyes and know that we have done the best we could.
"We have to win every game and then see how the title is looking - anything can happen in football. Is it hopeless? No.
"We have a lot of games left and an important cup game at the weekend so I don't think so."
Rasmussen was thrilled to make his first SPL start for Celtic at the weekend and partnered Robbie Keane in attack. The Irish star showed his top class finishing skills to bag a brace and secure all three points against the Bairns.
"I do my best in training so I was pleased to start,” he said. “It was nice to play with a top-class striker, I enjoyed it. You learn a lot when you play and train with a good player - but the whole team are good players."

At Celtic Football Club October 2009 with all time Celtic Legend Mr Billy McNeil presenting him with Collingwood jumper and Sherrin Football. Billy McNeil was Captain of the famous Celtic side which would go on and win the European Cup the first British club ever to do so, They would become known as The Lisbon Lions.
The Lisbon Lions is the nickname given to the Celtic team that won the European Cup at the Estádio Nacional in Lisbon, Portugal on 25 May 1967, defeating Inter Milan 2–1. All the members of this team were born within 30 miles (48 km) of Glasgow, Scotland Celtic's style was the antithesis of the cynical, but highly effective, defensive style of Internazionale. Jimmy Johnstone described the team's style as "like the Dutch speeded-up."
Alessandro Mazzola opened the scoring for Inter with a 7th minute penalty, after Jim Craig brought down Renato Cappellini. The Italians then retreated into their famous 11-man defence. Inter did not win a single corner and forced Celtic goalkeeper Ronnie Simpson to make only two saves; Celtic had two shots off the crossbar, and 39 other attempts on goal, 13 of which were saved by Italian goalkeeper Giuliano Sarti, 7 were blocked or deflected, and only 19 were off-target.
Craig made amends for his penalty mistake on 63 minutes, when he laid off the ball for Tommy Gemmell to fire home for the Celtic equaliser. With 83 minutes on the clock, Gemmell was allowed space, and he played the ball to Bobby Murdoch, whose long-range shot was deflected by Steve Chalmers past Sarti into the net.
Celtic were the first British club, and the first Northern European club to win the European Cup and are still the only Scottish club ever to have reached the final, and are the only club to have won a "Quadruple". They reached the final again in 1970 but were beaten 2–1 by Feyenoord after extra time in the San Siro Stadium in Milan Walking into the most famous football stadium on the planet.
