The Magpie Army
March to the 'G'

The call went out to the burbs. Commeth the hour Commeth the march and so it will be written for all future generations that the Pies would again bomb out in the Premiership race. The boys had had enough one sensed they did not give in but injuries suspensions would take a toll. The tank was empty. Sometimes on the battlefield it's not victory that counts but rather how the fallen refuse to fall. One senses the Collingwood football club is not far from the greatest victory.  Our heads are bloodied but never bowed. And one can be assured the Magpie Army will never give up, it will never retreat, It welcomes all future Gladitorial contests. Show us a battlefield and we'll show you the Magpie Army in full cry and in full voice as it goes on it's way in supporting the greatest Batallion in the AFL..The Collingwood Football Club. We sit back again and watch others claim something that should always be ours It hurts and it's annoying, But it only means one thing..Next year the Army comes back and it will come back more determined more passionate bigger in numbers as we go about once again in doing our part to ensure the great September honours will be won by a football club with more meaning more heart more tradition than any other rival. This club to it's followers is not just a game, it's a way of life. It and we stand for something, it's a love affair only seperated by death. Let this warning be acknowledged by all the nations, We'll be back be afraid you cowardly infidels be very afraid. Long live the club Long live the Army..Floreat Pica and may we haunt your dreams for all eternity you Bastards!!
