COLLINGWOOD may be home to the famous cheer squad leader Joffa but the Gold Coast Suns now have Jaffa.
Jaffa, otherwise known as local real estate agent Gary Hendrick, plans to have Suns supporters in full voice tonight for the sold-out AFL clash against Collingwood at Metricon Stadium.
When he attended the first Gold Coast game of the year against Carlton at the Gabba, Hendrick -- who is no stranger to performing -- decided Suns supporters needed someone to rev them up.
By the time the first game at Metricon Stadium came along in Round 10, Jaffa was born.
"I do a bit of performing for birthday parties as Elvis and that sort of thing," he said.
"It was the first game that I thought we should get the crowd happening.
"So for the first game at Metricon Stadium (against Geelong) I decided to go all the way and I ordered a suit through eBay. It was meant to be red and when it arrived it was orange.
"At the game I said I am the Gold Coast Suns' Joffa and someone turned around and said 'No mate, you are Jaffa', so it stuck."
Well this is the dude Joffa...Apparently they call him Jaffa.....I was hoping someone would roll him down the aisle.. Get you own idea Buddy...There will never be another JOFFA....

I just dicovered I can predict the future...... Collingwood 164 Suns 36, or it non scientific terms "Epic Fail"....... And I predict their huge investment in Hunt will finally bring thousands to the game today, but hang on ohhh.... Oops they will be wearing 'Black n White" ;)
