Five days prior to the elimination final against Geelong the Magpie Army was summonsed to meet at The Westpac Centre to march across the footbridge to the famous MCG. It was a sign of unity and strength. It was Side By Side. It was loud and passionate. It was the kids and families. It was for Collingwood. Six hundred magpies fans turned up to make it the biggest pie march in history. The footbridge rocked. Text messages were recieved frrom Supporters as far away as Richmond Station to say the pie army was in full voice. The magpie army has arrived for the Good Old Collingwood.
 The army congregates.
 The army begins to march
The long walk to the footbridge. The army is getting ready to warcry.
 The battle shield comes out.
The enemy must be getting nervous as the footbridge draws closer.
On entrance via footbridge to the battle ground.
On the footbridge and ready for war.
The song The passion has commenced
The turnout was massive. The footbridge was moving.
It got louder and louder and could be heard suberbs away.
Flags Vuvuzelas and voice the army came prepared for battle.
Pleased to report that no enemy was executed by being thrown off the footbridge.
The battle flag was waved high.
 And the army was happy
No sign of the enemy it had obviously retreated to the confounds and safety of the MCG weak pricks!
The pre game battle had been won. One more song and to the MCG we would enter.
Many thanks for the massive turnout. No one else can do this like the magpie army. The kids and families had an absolute ball.
