Shite Mike's Mid Year report

COLLINGWOOD
Win/Loss: 10-1 Ladder: 2nd
Next four: Bye, Syd, Haw, NM
Flag odds: $2.20
SuperCoach hero: Scott Pendlebury (126)
In a nutshell: Going better than this time last year. Could be undefeated if Scott Pendlebury had been paid advantage in the Geelong game. Deserves to be favourite.
Pressure point: Not too much to worry about at the moment, but it would love to have Darren Jolly fit and firing again (which is likely after he returns from Arizona) and Alan Didak back in his best form.
Upside: Just imagine what this side can do when it adds Dane Swan, Jolly, Dale Thomas, Ben Johnson and Dayne Beams and possibly even Nathan Brown later in the year.
Defining moment: The three-point loss to Geelong. It sparked them into action. The Pies have averaged wins by 10 goals in their four games since. In those four last terms, the Pies have booted 29 goals to seven.
Borrowed time: The pressure could come on some of the older guys such as Ben Johnson, not because of form, but because of the young guns pushing hard to come through.
